Even with increased networking opportunities, many marketers still see the more traditional face-to-face communication as one of the most effective marketing tools. FireEdge Ltd Manchester insists that creating such personal connection with customers increases brand loyalty and business growth.

Face-to-face marketing is still seen as one of the most effective tools by many UK companies in order to create brand loyalty and increase sales. It generates an estimated £9.45 billion of business for Britain’s small and medium-sized businesses (businesszone.co.uk). FireEdge Ltd Manchester, a direct sales and marketing company based on Princess Street in Manchester, is representing brands on a face-to-face basis on their clients’ behalf in order to build strong relationships with consumers and increase customer retention. “We create a unique sales experience for consumers. We make a difference by being personable and building a connection with people”, says FireEdge Ltd Manchester’s managing director, Mr Adetona.

The more compelling the customer experience is, the faster a company can boost its brand loyalty. A unique and memorable brand experience can be built through both totality and tonality. The totality of the brand experience is about completeness and consistency (entrepreneur.com). “The message to consumers needs to be consistent throughout all marketing channels a company is using to attract customers”, says FireEdge Ltd Manchester’s managing director. It is crucial to send complete and consistent messages to assure that customers know what the brand is going to deliver and what they can expect for their money each and every time. Tonality is about the spirit of the experience (entrepreneur.com). “The company vision needs to be understood by consumers and be in line with the marketing messages sent out through different channels”, explains Mike Adetona of FireEdge Ltd Manchester. With the combination of totality and tonality, FireEdge Ltd Manchester creates a memorable and unique brand experience by building an emotional connection with their clients’ customers.

FireEdge Ltd Manchester specialises on outsourced sales, marketing and customer acquisition. The company raises brand awareness on their clients’ behalf throughout the UK and help them increase customer retention and brand loyalty by using the more traditional face-to-face marketing channel.

FireEdge Ltd Manchester has exceeded the final quarter’s forecast by 9% last year and is expected to double size by the end of 2013. The company has achieved a great reputation over the past year and has raised the attention of many UK businesses looking to boost their sales figures and increase brand loyalty.

FireEdge Ltd announced last week their ‘Local Markets’ strategy which focuses on improving their knowledge of their neighbouring community has boosted sales by 2%. The firm is based in Manchester and specialises in outsourced sales and promotions.

FireEdge Ltd managing director Mike Adetona was inspired by the likes of Richard Branson to start a community strategy with the aim of helping the community. The Entrepreneur article ‘Richard Branson on Community Building to Grow Your Business’ describes Branson’s philanthropic efforts, which range from involvement in a student advice centre in Virgin’s 1970s start-up days, to the Virgin group’s present day international programmes such as the Future Crew youth development programme in South Africa. “Being new to Manchester – I have lived and worked predominantly in London and the South Coast – I felt it was important to gain an understanding of the local community, their wants and aspirations,” says Mike Adetona of FireEdge Ltd. “Richard Branson has always been a role model of mine, and the fact is that since the early days he has been involved in programmes that not only help local communities but also assist in strengthening his brand and consumer loyalty. We wanted to avoid this being an empty marketing gesture, which is why we decided to use our experience in business to help provide advice and support for ambitious people in the local community. After the first month we have seen a significant improvement in customer acquisitions numbers, which I think is due in part to more awareness and trust being built within the community.”

FireEdge Ltd expanded their Business and Entrepreneurship Development Programme on March 1st 2013. The scheme is designed to help would-be entrepreneurs based in Greater Manchester with free workshops and seminars on areas including sales skills, developing a successful business attitude and leading teams. These are open to people of all ages and backgrounds, although managing director Mike Adetona reports that the majority of attendees tend to be aged 18-25. “This is not surprising considering the rates of youth unemployment in many areas of Manchester. FireEdge Ltd can prove advice and networking opportunities for people who are considering self-employment or start-up companies as an alternative to unemployment.” The Guardian’s ‘Youth Unemployment Mapped’ shows central Manchester has 5.2% youth unemployment, although this rises to as high as 9% in surrounding areas such as Oldham and Rochdale. “It’s still early days, but I think our programme proves that we can make our firm relevant to the local community without significant financial contributions. As the firm grows, we will maintain our relationship with local communities to ensure that the quality of our outsourcing service remains consistent,” adds FireEdge Ltd managing director Mike Adetona.

FireEdge Ltd provides sales and marketing services for national clients. Formed in Manchester in 2012, they aim to expand into new markets in 2014.

Mike Adetona, MD at FireEdge Ltd Manchester claims engaging with the target audience and providing valuable information through content marketing can lead to increased customer loyalty, return on investment and SEO performance.

Overall, 64% of UK marketers are increasing content marketing budgets. Successful companies such as P&G, Microsoft or Cisco Systems are using content marketing strategies. “All of these companies have recognised the importance of a continuous and consistent communication with their customers rather than emphasising on a sale”, explains Mike Adetona at FireEdge Ltd. According to research conducted by the Roper Public Affairs, 80% of business decision makers prefer to get company information through articles rather than advertisement. 70% of the businesses asked say that content marketing makes them feel closer to a sponsoring company and 60% say that company content helps them make better product decisions (Contentmarketinginstitute.com). “These figures demonstrate that people do their homework. Successful content provides information to consumers, makes them compare brands and develop trust and loyalty”, explains Mike Adetona.

Effective content marketing means that a business communicates and connects with customers by providing valuable information, but without selling (Contentmarketinginstitute.com). “The content marketing strategy helps attract a defined target audience”, adds Mike Adetona. Instead of pitching products or services to potential customers, they are provided valuable information about the brand and ultimately reward companies with their business and loyalty (Contentmarketinginstitute.com). “Content marketing is a very effective strategy. Some companies however, may need to overcome certain challenges”, says Mike Adetona at FireEdge Ltd. According to research, 57% of marketers are facing difficulties to produce enough content, 49% fear that they cannot produce the kind of content that engages their target audience and 39% of marketers do not feel confident they can produce a sufficient variety of content (Contentmarketinginstitute.com).

Managing director of FireEdge Ltd in Manchester is certain that content marketing remains one of the most effective marketing strategies. The results of the study ‘Content Marketing in the UK: 2013 Benchmarks, Budgets and Trends’ conducted by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI) and the Direct Marketing Association UK (DMA) confirm a very promising trend. According to the study, UK marketers are planning to increase their content marketing budgets more over the next year than their North American and Australian colleagues. On average, 27% of marketing budgets in Britain are allocated to content marketing. “The prospects look promising”, says Mike Adetona. 64% of UK marketers are planning to increase their content marketing budget over the next twelve months, compared to 54% in North America and 61% in Australia (Contentmarketinginstitute.com).

FireEdge Ltd anticipates that the multi-million pound direct selling industry will grow further over the coming years. This follows news last week that consumer goods group Unilever are starting to question the ROI of social media marketing in comparison to direct channels of marketing. The MarketingWeek article ‘Reality finally bites for social media’ reveals that several of Unilever’s brands including Marmite and Radox reported that spending on in-store promotions was delivering up to 50% better return than social media. “Many businesses are caught up in digital or social media marketing; the problem is that now the market is saturated. We are starting to notice brands wanting a unique approach and our direct sales services seem to offer that,” says Michael Adetona, managing director of FireEdge Ltd.

More Info http://www.fireedge.co.uk

The Amway article ‘Direct selling on the rise in the recession’reports statistics from the Direct Selling Association that the industry contributes £390million annually to the UK economy. The benefits of direct selling are firstly that it is quantifiable. Using a person to person approach – promotions held typically at businesses, in-store and private residences – allows a sales representative to measure the number of prospects spoken to, the engagement levels of prospects approached, and the sales conversion rate. By quantifying their marketing strategies, FireEdge Ltd can guarantee a conversion rate of 3-5% of the targeted audience. This compares with 0.12% (1 in 1000) sales conversion for email solicitations.(http://printinthemix.com/Fastfacts/Show/575)

Direct selling is also a cost-effective service with fewer overheads than traditional mass media advertising. FireEdge Ltd only charge their clients upon delivery of new customers, ensuring a ROI of at least £3 per £1 invested. Managing director Michael Adetona considers the major advantage direct selling has over most forms of marketing is that it facilitates communication with the prospect on a human level: “At FireEdge Ltd we have a saying that ‘people buy from people’ and I believe the validity of this is evident from our results. The fact is that humans are social beings and despite the advances of technology in recent years, a ‘like’ or ‘tweet’ on social media cannot compete with the impact of a genuine conversation with another person. Our sales representatives provide the highest standards of customer service, so that the end goal when engaging a prospect is not to generate a sale but to provide a positive association with the brand. This experience can convert up to 30% of our target market into ‘warm leads’ who may be more inclined to buy in future.”

Founded in Manchester in 2012, FireEdge Ltd exceeded their final-quarter targets by 9%. The outsourced firm aims to double in size and add new clients to its roster by the end of 2013.

Small businesses help creating jobs and enhance growth for Britain’s economy. Michael Adetona, Managing Director at Fire Edge Ltd Manchester, supports the FSB’s call for more support and easier regulations in order to boost the UK’s economic recovery.

According to the Federation of Small Businesses’ national chairman John Walker, over four million people in the UK are either self-employed or run their own business. “Although the single European market gives them access to 500 million customers and 23 million businesses”, he says, “the burden of regulation – with around half emanating from the European Union itself – falls disproportionately on the smallest firms” (nebusiness.co.uk). Business Owner and Managing Director Michael Adetona confirms that small businesses are vital for the recovery of the country’s economy. “It is crucial to make processes easier in order to enhance growth, create new jobs, opportunities and support for local communities”, says Michael Adetona at Fire Edge Ltd Manchester.

In the UK 99.2% of businesses have less than 50 employees and, according to the United Kingdom Standard Industrial Classification of Economic Activities (SIC), there are 728 different types of businesses (fpb.org). “These figures demonstrate how much impact small businesses have on our economy. It is extremely important to keep those businesses alive and encourage even more people to become entrepreneurs, considering the diversity small businesses create for Britain’s economy”, says Michael Adetona at Fire Edge Ltd Manchester. Small businesses in Britain employ 46.2% of the country’s workforce and contribute 24.9% to the UK’s wealth (fpb.org).

Due the decisive impact of small businesses, the FSB is of the opinion that the Government and the European Union should ensure that they receive the best support. According to the UK Government, around half of Great Britain’s regulations come directly from Brussels (nebusiness.co.uk). “Processes could be simplified and remedies made more affordable”, says Michael Adetona at Fire Edge Ltd Manchester. Small businesses are disproportionately affected by regulation. In order to keep up with compliance, regulations can cost small businesses ten times as much per employee as it costs a large company (gov.uk). Michael Adetona adds: “Small businesses however may have fewer resources while big corporations in comparison might be in the position to hire financial advisors or expensive lawyers to deal with the complex regulations in order to remain compliant.” Underlining the importance of small businesses for Britain, the UK Government is now pressing the EU’s decision making institutions to look at the impact of their legislation on businesses. Furthermore, the European Parliament has set up an impact assessment unit that will assess amendments the Parliament makes to proposed laws (gov.uk). “We sincerely hope that the existing barriers will soon be abandoned”, says Michael Adetona, “and clearer regulations will encourage many entrepreneurs to help Britain’s economy to a rapid growth.”

As marketers lose credibility more CEO’s look to alternative methods of obtaining new customers which offer a higher return on investment such as Direct Sales. FireEdge Ltd report increased demand for outsourced services.

Manchester based firm, FireEdge Ltd have noted the increased demand for direct sales and marketing services. A survey conducted by Fournaise Marketing Group reveals 70% of CEOs have lost trust in marketers’ ability to deliver growth after becoming frustrated by what they see as an inability to prove ROI on campaigns. FireEdge Ltd, Managing Director says ‘We have seen companies start to shift their focus to direct and face-to-face marketing approaches. The report by FMG highlights how difficult it is for businesses to track and report progress of online marketing which in today’s economy is not acceptable. The benefit of our direct marketing approach is that we can measure the amount of customers reached and exactly how many purchase – a huge benefit for many businesses’.

Another study by The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) reveals widespread deficiencies in understanding of specialist areas of marketing, for example the tracking and measuring the effectiveness of mobile advertising continues to be an issue with 31 per cent of respondents reporting this as a reason for not investing more on mobile. ‘People understand how direct forms of marketing work, how they are measured and the results to expect. Our services are a safe option for business owners who are regaining their confidence as the UK emerges from the recent recession’ adds FireEdge Ltd’s MD.

Benefits of direct sales are pointed out by FireEdge Ltd Manchester as, effective in gaining the initial interest and attention of prospective customer by adding a personal touch; the most effective method to enter a new market with relatively low cost, especially providing unique products or services; no need for substantial advertising and as being unique in using a socially-based, sales process to attract and retain new customers.

FireEdge Ltd forecast growth for 2013 to exceed last year by 25%. The company will release details for expansion plans into new markets by the 2nd quarter of this year.

FireEdge Ltd prides themselves on being innovative and having the ability to evolve with the continually changing economy.

After opening up their business right as the United Kingdom entered a double dip recession, FireEdge Ltd has been successfully able to adapt to any of the challenges of the tough economy. During the double dip recession in 2010, Britain’s leading companies experienced market turmoil and a credit crunch because of government public spending cuts and a renewed economic downturn across the globe. During this time Britain’s net debt was extremely high at £842.9 billion, causing the government to cut spending and raise taxes. FireEdge Ltd, a Manchester based small business used their size to their advantage, they were able to adapt to the ever-changing economy. The benefits of being a small business allowed FireEdge to use a more hands-on approach and level with their customers. FireEdge Ltd responded to these market changes rapidly due to their knowledge of their customers needs gained personalised face-to-face interactions.

A face-to-face marketing approach assists FireEdge Ltd in gaining feedback from their customers, resulting in their ability to have consistent success during the UK’s economic troubles. ‘We think of our business as creative and innovative. We have worked very hard at keeping up to date with the changes within our market and have implemented strategies that have allowed us to evolve quickly. I credit our success to this. We started the company in the middle of one of the most difficult economy’s in recent history and are very proud of what we have been able to achieve thus far’, states Managing director Mike Adetona.

FireEdge Ltd consistently work on trend-spotting and focus on societal shifts to remain creative with their business strategies. The Managing Director believes recognising up-coming trends helps FireEdge Ltd to keep up on how the world is changing and where their business fits into those changes over time’. Societal shifts in demographics, attitudes, and priorities among customers can dramatically increase or decrease the demand for business, which is the drive behind the company’s success. Through these techniques, FireEdge Ltd is able to figure out what their customers are looking for and continue to come up with new ideas to satisfy them. FireEdge Ltd has found that failing to listen to what the market is telling a business ultimately leads to limited innovation. As well, relying on secondary market research instead of conducting it personally can hinder growth and prosperity. FireEdge Ltd’s is a strong believer in producing their own research through their face-to-face marketing strategy because it is proven that the customer has a strong interest and desire for interaction.

FireEdge Ltd’s believes their experience opening up a business during one of the worst recessions in the UK’s history has been vital in adapting to the perpetually transforming market.

FireEdge Ltd is an outsourced sales and marketing company located in Manchester. The Firm have seen demand for the services grow year on year.

FireEdge Ltd suggest marketing as a whole is becoming more complex; digital marketing, relationship marketing and green marketing are just a few areas that have emerged in recent years. Couple these new marketing communications with the rise of social media, and for many SME’s, this can be all too much to handle internally by one marketing department.

As Britain exits the double-dip recession, many companies cannot afford to take on staff for these new marketing roles or invest in developing expertise. As a result of this increasingly complex field, 2013 will see a rise in outsourcing these roles to companies who are experts in their area. A source at FireEdge Ltd in Manchester says “budgets are getting tighter for many businesses and they need to know that they money they are spending on marketing is going to generate a return on investment.”

BDM’s and Marketing Managers report with so many tools at their disposal to reach customers, it can be overwhelming and difficult to measure results. FireEdge Ltd describes an increase in UK and International businesses turning to outsourced service in order to manage their campaigns more effectively, or act as an extension to complement their internal marketing efforts.

FireEdge Ltd say a mistake many companies make is attempting to get their marketing teams to take on new advertising channels or manage sales in addition to their core responsibilities resulting in poorly managed campaigns and valuable man hours lost in research. The unseen issue is that without a clear defined marketing strategy it will not yield the desired result. ‘Often by the time a client meets with us they have thrown a huge amount of money time into new marketing avenues. We endeavour to ease that frustration and offer a tailored outsourced service that will guarantee results and simplify reporting ROI’.

FireEdge Ltd is an outsourced agency who specialise in sales, acquisitions and marketing. As outsourcing becomes a part of companies marketing strategy, knowing who to trust is crucial. FireEdge Ltd has been specialising in outsourcing for national clients for the last two years and understands that productivity, regular reporting and consistency in communications plays an important factor in building trust with new clients and their customers.

‘We know that outgrowing and outperforming competitors this year will revolve around providing high quality results for our clients. A growing list of companies will be looking to outsource their sales and marketing to a business that can add a personal touch and experience and we plan to ensure we are their first port of call’ adds FireEdge Ltd’s MD.

Outsourced Sales firm FireEdge Ltd announce their decision to conserve energy, reduce waste and promote economic security.

FireEdge Ltd joins some of the world’s most inspirational brands by confirming their plans to adopt a new energy efficiency policy. The Manchester based business will have the policy fully implemented by the 2nd quarter of 2013. FireEdge Ltd will see benefits such as reduced operating costs and an improved business reputation among their suppliers and customers.

Measuring energy use will allow a business to target inefficiency and to grow more sustainably. “Understanding our energy usage was the first step. Now that we know which processes and equipment use the most energy we can put practices in place to reduce the amount of energy used” says a spokesperson for FireEdge Ltd.

Consumers are attracted to businesses that are considered to have strong ethical values and are environmentally responsible. FireEdge Ltd has confirmed positive customer feedback has been an added benefit since announcing their commitment to becoming an energy efficient business. “We hadn’t considered that people would react the way they have. Being energy efficient is very socially acceptable and our customers have responded well to this new initiative. We’ve been pleasantly surprised to note that implementing these changes has not only contributed to the environment but also to save our business money and given us more recognition within the sales and marketing industry” adds FireEdge Ltd, MD.

The Carbon Trust say businesses could save £400m by more efficient use of boilers. FireEdge Ltd informs that businesses can make many small changes in addition to this and see a significant difference in operating costs. Ensuring office equipment is being turned off at the end of each day, switching to energy saving light bulbs and not heating unused storerooms are very easy changes to implement.

FireEdge Ltd are an outsourced sales and marketing firm who work with brands to develop direct marketing campaigns to increase consumer interaction and acquire new customers.

The Energy Efficiency policy adopted by FireEdge Ltd has offered the business many benefits and they hope other UK businesses take steps in the same direction to assist with reducing their carbon footprint and saving the environment.

The world keeps moving fast and leaders who fail to adapt to the constantly changing environment, may have to focus on a company’s survival rather than outstanding business performance. A spokesperson for FireEdge Ltd in Manchester says: “It is nothing new, successful leaders take ownership, have excellent people skills and the right mentality; however in a world of social media platforms, even though it might be hard to believe, communication can become a challenge.” According to an article by Steve Tobac, published on inc.com, he explains competences that set apart great leaders from others.

The world is on a constant move and entrepreneurs can only keep up with competitors if they know how to distinguish themselves and their business from others. FireEdge Ltd claims that great leaders have the skills to adapt continuously to changing situations in our high-tech world.

First of all, it is important to drown out the noise. In a world full of communication platforms it is crucial to prioritise and manage any disruption. FireEdge Ltd state: “Nowadays it is easy to get distracted by a text message, a tweet or emails. Without focus things cannot get done properly.” In addition to that, it is vital not to become an ‘internet avatar’, hiding behind social media, but being present in the ‘real world’.

“It can become a challenge to truly connect with people”, says the Managing Director at FireEdge Ltd. Great leaders achieve great things through communication; however these days, states Tobac, communication occurs in sound bites, status updates, text messages, and tweets of 140 characters or even less and becomes more and more a one-to-many, rather than a one-to-one conversation “Social media platforms are great to spread the word and, if effectively used, to keep in touch with customers; but compared to a face-to-face meeting do people actively listen?” Tobac is of the mind that leaders who have the ability to emphasise, to truly relate and connect with people, are the ones writing tomorrow’s success stories.

Furthermore, explains Tobac in his article, it is important to recognise what is relevant. “… the world is only going to become more and more complex and… full of stuff”, he clarifies. With social media, blogs, TV, self-help books and many more, there is a lot of information out there. “Great leaders”, claim FireEdge Ltd Manchester, “do not just accept what they read, but they question it.” Critical thinking is fundamental for smart decision-making and the key to being successful.

The high-tech trend will continue. Our world keeps changing and more inventions will challenge future leaders. The basics of great leadership may never change. It is important to take ownership, connect with people and have the right mentality. A source at the Manchester based sales and marketing company; FireEdge summarises: “The important thing is to know how to use more and more advanced technology effectively, so it can be a great asset to the business.”
